Tofinou 7 lifting keel/centreboard day trailer sailer designed by Jubert and built by Latitude 46. Lead ballast long keel combination with a steel centreboard, big cockpit and inboard engine, makes the Tofinou 7 a very stylish and well - mannered day-sailer. This is a much loved example with many updates over the years including a fully reconditioned engine 2024, new cockpit tent for overnight sleeping, upgraded chain plates, new standing rigging 2018, complete with twin axle road Trailor. The Tofinu 7 is the only day sailer with a serious lead ballast keel, inboard engine and classic beauty. Her stiffness is wonderfully reassuring, and a absolute joy to sail. OWNERS COMMENTS:
The vendor has owned OCELOT for 8 years with the number of previous owners uknown.
She has been used for club racing in Dartmouth, weekly or less, over the last four years, plus a few races in Dartmouth Regatta; also for day trips with his grandchildren for fishing and swimming etc.
In addition, they have undertaken two overnight cruises to the Salcombe Estuary, Falmouth and the Helford River.

Strengthening of the base of the chain plates following advice from the original builder, Latitude 46
Engine servicing every winter – she is now de-winterised
Centreboard sand blasted and regalvanised
3:1 lifting tackle replaced by 5:1
New mahogany cover for centreboard casing
New varnished mahogany bulkheads port and starboard to suspend custom made hammocks under side deck to temporarily store spare clothing, life jackets, picnics.
