The Sea Sprite 23 is an American-built long keeled yacht. She was sailed to the UK by her owner. They were designed by the Swedish boat designer Carl Alberg and are an enduring success around the world.
'Hitch Hiker' has undergone a very complete refit and is now in superb condition throughout, she has new standing and running rigging , new sails, a refurbished engine, new headlining and has been expertly painted, giving her the look of a new yacht.
The Sea Sprite 23 is a fun,responsive, superbly balanced yacht with a very steady sea kindly motion. She is perfect for weekends on the water but has an excellent turn of speed and points well. The current owner has had a very successful racing season with her. For those interested, she would do very well indeed in the Round the island race.

Accommodation :
The Sea Sprite can sleep four. The forward area is a double berth with two rear quarter berths. There is space for a toilet and shelving for a camping stove.
