The Shearwater is a popular, reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat from Collingwood Boat Builders. This, the range topping ‘E-Line’ features state of the art, Vetus electric propulsion providing whisper quiet cruising. Power is from a bank of 16 AGM batteries with back up from an onboard 8kw Diesel generator. An enclosed stern with pram cover and seating provides a social and comfortable exterior area. Entering the vessel from the stern leads into the galley which features an electric induction hob, Microwave, granite worktops and ample storage space. This then leads into a large saloon area with ‘L’ shape dinette, TV and solid fuel stove. The dinette converts into a double berth. Moving forward, next is a walkthrough bathroom with large quadrant shower, ceramic cassette toilet, hand basin and ample storage space. At the front of the cabin is the fixed double berth with floor to ceiling wardrobe, shelving, overhead cupboards and reading lights. This then leads out on to a good sized well deck area.
